Sourceforge has awarded Formal LMS with an Open Source Excellence prize

Sourceforge is an Open Source software community resource dedicated to helping open source projects be as successful as possible. With the tools provided, developers on SourceForge create powerful software in over 502,000 projects, hosting millions of registered users. Sourceforge directory connects nearly 30 million monthly users with all of these open source projects and serves more than 2.6 million downloads a day. Its business software directory lists over 77,200 software titles.

This said, it is important to highlight that Sourceforge's honors are awarded only to select projects that have reached significant milestones on terms of downloads and user engagement from the SourceForge community.  In particular, the Open Source Excellence badge is awarded to open source projects that have reached the milestone of 100,000 total downloads, or 10,000 monthly downloads for the first time.

This award is, therefore, a big achievement for Forma, that has qualified out of hundreds of thousands of open source projects. The badge will now appear on Forma's page on Sourceforge.
