Can we remove the powered by forma lms? If yes then where should I edit this?

Yes of course, that is an editable field.

You can change that under
Administration>main>configuration>settings>Site owner

Basically there are two parts to it. I can edit one part from site owner field but where can I remove - Powered by forma.lms CE

Yes, you're right.
Site owner => the copyright notice, configurable via interface
Powered by => it's not configurable via interface. If you want to change that, you have to do it by modifying the html code.
