error uploading a file in communication submenu

hello,
when I try to upload a file on a topic that I've created under E-learnin Menu >> Communication ,
I've got the below error,
Fatal error: Call to a member function subFileToUsedSpace() on a non-object in /home/pozitifa/public_html/yeni/doceboLms/modules/item/item.php on line 165
the version is 4.0.5
I've also the version 4.0.4 on another server but there is no error like this...
what is the problem?
