The forma.lms project is led and mantained by the forma.association,
created on January 2017 by the founders of the Forma LMS project
Scope
The forma.association was founded with the purpose of:
PROTECT
the product and the brand
being a guarantee of the project continuity for the community of adopters
DIRECT
the software development,
the corrective and evolutive maintenance of forma.lms, and all the activities aimed at the product growth and improvement
PROMOTE
promote forma.lms through marketing activities, the participation or organization of exhibitions, webinars, or similar events
COORDINATE
Coordinate and animating the community of adopters, developing and sustaining projects to nurture the ecosystem around forma.lms

Membership
Any person or company willing to support forma.lms can join the forma.association as a member: the association is open to individuals, corporations, governments, agencies, variously organized groups who actively contribute to the achievement of the institutional goals and adhere to this Statute. Three types of membership are available:

Members committed to contribute to the development, promotion and dissemination of the project
Standard Fees
Association memberships are valid for 1 year, from January 1 to December 31. Your membership will thus be valid until the end of each year, not for 12 months. The only exception is if you become a member after December the 1st of each year: in that case the membership is also valid for the following year.

Elearnit, Joint Technologies, Purple Network and Grifo Multimedia have joined their forces to give the elearning community around the world not only a robust, corporate-oriented, e-learning application but also a strong network and a solid support and development community. In January 2017 they have created forma.association to promote and develop forma.lms
Elearnit has been delivering e-learning solutions, courses and consulting since 2005. More than 150.000 users are managed by Elearnit and its customers. It is the initiator and coordinator of the Forma network: having a direct link to the market (mainly large corporations and consulting companies), Elearnit gives Forma Lms' development the right direction and keeps it focused on real-life requirements.
Joint Technologies is a very experienced development team, whose customers are mainly large corporations, with all the skills and the people needed to greatly contribute to Forma Lms. JT's experience with open-source projects is very useful for Forma's project.
Purple Network is a young development team who already has a lot of experiences and case histories in software development and in complex projects, also concerning the integration of websites and social networks or smartphone applications.
Grifo Multimedia is a solid consulting company, active in the elearning and knowledge management sector since 1997 with strong experiences on all the main open source and commercial elearning platforms
Behind this "core" group of partners, there is another layer of consulting companies, developers and vendors who represent a less visible, but not less important, group of stakeholders that are committed to the development of Forma Lms. Click on forma.association members to know more about them.
